Statement of Faith

I believe in the one true God who exists in three persons, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, who created heaven and earth, and made man in His own image.

I believe that, due to the fall of Adam into sin, we are all stained and deserving of eternal punishment in hell away from God’s presence, because He is perfectly holy, and only holy perfection can approach Him.

I believe that the Father sent His Son, Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, to Earth to take on human flesh, being born of a virgin by the power of the Holy Spirit, and, to live a perfect life on our behalf, reveal His kingdom, die for His elect as an efficacious substitution on the cross, and thus meet God’s holy standard by providing the payment He demands for sin so that his people  who respond to His call to repentance and salvation, enabled by the regenerative work of the Holy Spirit, are completely forgiven and cleansed, are credited as righteous by the perfect work of Christ, and are adopted as God’s children and sealed with the Holy Spirit as a sign of their eternal inheritance in heaven; they will be raised from the dead, just as Christ Jesus was raised from the dead and ascended into heaven, and will glorify God forever in perfect bliss when Jesus returns in His glory to consummate His eternal Kingdom on earth.

I believe that the Holy Spirit dwells with and within His forgiven, saved people, comforts and counsels us, convicts us of sin, and empowers holy lives through the process of sanctification in service to God and witness of the Gospel on Earth in this temporal life until the resurrection of the dead and the life everlasting.
